Sesquicentennial

Day of Service

Let's kick off the Sesquicentennial Celebration of Kappa Kappa Gamma with Founder's Day 2019! We want to encourage you to hold a national day of service to start the celebration of honoring and celebrating our 150 years! This day of service would be held around the time of Founder's Day and what you do is up to the members of your chapter, association or club!

Ideas:

  • Run/Walk in an charitable event of your choice

  • Work together at a soup kitchen or animal shelter

  • Hold a Sesquicentennial book drive

  • Host a trunk or treat event with your local library with children's book themes

  • Volunteer together at any local charity in your community

Make it meaningful for your group and for those you choose to serve in honor of our sisterhood! Chapters, don't feel the need to add on an extra event in your already packed schedules. This can be a sisterhood event, or make your already scheduled philanthropy event themed with the Sesquicentennial. Promote activities on all your social media channels using this hashtag: #kappaturns150.
