Historical facts:
During the weekend of Nov. 8–10, 1983, Kappa Kappa Gamma established the Zeta Lambda Chapter at Washington & Jefferson College in Washington, Pennsylvania.
On April 7, 1984, Zeta Lambda was installed as Kappa’s 113th active chapter.
During the 1980s, Zeta Lambda was housed in a historic home owned by the college but lovingly furnished by House Board.
Fun facts:
The morale of members was kept high through the development of “Hoot ‘n Salutes” and other awards that were given to members at chapter meetings.
Twenty-four lucky members are able to live in the house each year.
For Zeta Lambda’s first preference party, the Student Center was decorated with flowers, candlelight, and white-clothed banquet tables.
