On Thursday, Sept. 13, 1979, Kappa Kappa Gamma established the beginnings of Zeta Alpha Chapter, Babson.
Zeta Alpha Chapter was installed on Feb. 16, 1980.
In fall 2018, Vice President-Organization Mikhaila Marchan and Diversity and Inclusion Chairman Hailey Serna introduced Zeta Alpha Chapter’s first Spirit Week.
Preceded by Sigma Kappa, Kappa was the second National Panhellenic Conference group on campus.
The chapter has a five-floor "tower" of on-campus housing that contains 15 singles and a kitchen/common room. It is connected to the sororities and fraternities that are also allowed housing on campus. The tower is owned by the university and has been the only location of Zeta Alpha's housing.
