  1. Gamma Alpha Chapter was the sixth of the National Panhellenic Conference groups on the campus.

  2. Local organization Lambda Lambda Theta was granted a charter by Kappa Kappa Gamma in spring 1916. Installation took place on Sept. 23, 1916. Omega Chapter, Kansas, was the sponsoring chapter. 

  3. The chapter house was renovated for its Centennial.

Fun facts:

  1. Some of the first female veterinarian students were members of Gamma Alpha Chapter.

  2. Kappa Pickers greeted Jerry Lewis and many other university guests that arrived for special programs during the 70s and 80s.
