  1. On July 1, 2013, Kappa Kappa Gamma received a petition that a charter be granted to an interest group of unaffiliated students at Georgetown University. 

  2. On July 11, 2013, Fraternity Council, Region 2 Directors and Lambda Province Directors unanimously voted in favor to approve the petition that a charter be granted to the interest group of unaffiliated students at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C.

  3. The sponsoring chapter was Gamma Chi Chapter, George Washington.

Fun facts:

  1. Kappa Kappa Gamma was the first National Panhellenic Conference group to establish a chapter at Georgetown.

  2. Vivi Tran, Central Florida, presented the President’s badge to chapter President Jessica Michael at the installation brunch.

  3. The President, Marshal and Membership Chairman traveled to Denver to attend the 2018 Convention, where the chapter won the Recruitment Award and received an honorable mention for standards.
