  1. Fifty-one young women became new members of Eta Alpha Chapter on Jan. 9, 1994. 

  2. Eta Alpha Chapter was installed on March 19, 1994, becoming the Fraternity’s 125th active chapter.

  3. Founded in 1993, Kappa was the newest of the seven local sororities that sought affiliation with National Panhellenic Conference groups.

Fun facts:

  1. Eta Alpha Chapter was a local sorority known as “the Kappas” before receiving a Kappa Kappa Gamma charter. 

  2. In 2005, Eta Alpha built a book corner at the Bobby Pearse Community Center. The chapter donated more than 500 books to the center and presented each child with a book of their own.

  3. Eta Alpha received seven Panhellenic awards for the 2018 calendar year during the Greek awards ceremony.
