Historical facts: ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

  1. In addition to being America’s bicentennial and the university’s centennial, for 31 new Kappas, the most special part of the year was the installation of Epsilon Rho Chapter, which took place during Feb. 27–29, 1976.

  2. Kappa Kappa Gamma was the ninth sorority to be installed at Texas A&M. The others were all established within the previous two years.

  3. By the mid-1980s, a chapter house was completed and 48 Kappas were able to call the new house home.

Fun facts:

  1. In 1987, Epsilon Rho organized a cookbook fundraiser that raised $1,900 for a local mental health center and the Rose McGill fund.

  2. Epsilon Rho has an active Kappa Pickers group that regularly performs at campus and chapter events.
