  1. Epsilon Omicron Chapter of Kappa Kappa Gamma was installed on Feb. 15, 1975, at the University of California, Davis. 

  2. Thirteen very active girls became charter members after many busy months of building a chapter from scratch.

  3. At a banquet held during the formal installation of Epsilon Omicron Chapter, Catherine Collings, the first chapter President, read a poem written by a new initiate that included the following sentiment: "Each badge is a different key. One to a different heart, to a different girl with much to give to all. We mustn't emphasize only the key. We must emphasize what lies under it, what lies within our hearts."

Fun facts:

  1. In its beginning years, the chapter house was just an apartment. As membership grew rapidly, the chapter relocated to its current residence on Russell Boulevard in summer 1982. 

  2. Since establishing an Athletics Chairman in 1977, the chapter's love for athletics has only grown. The chapter is currently the proud three-year reigning champion of the women's powderpuff flag football competition. 

  3. Since 2015, Epsilon Omicron has ranked within the top four Panhellenic chapters with the highest overall GPA.
