  1. Kappa was the second Greek-letter organization and the first women's fraternity on campus.

  2. During Chi Chapter's first decade, membership ranged each year from five to 20.

  3. Chi Chapter was granted a charter by Delta Chapter.

  4. The name of the chapter was meant to be Xi, but in the letter of instructions about the name, the letter of the Xi must have been very small or light for it was not seen and X resulted. Thus, Chi.

Fun facts:

  1. During summer 2011, an HGTV designer redesigned the chapter house.

  2. At the 2018 General Convention in Denver, the chapter was awarded the Most Oustanding Chapter award.
